THE BRAND

Romualda is a Spanish company that makes sustainable, hand painted hats. It was born in 2019 at the hand of two sisters who combine design and art, their two passions, to make one of a kind wearable pieces of art. Romualda believes that beautiful things should be created with sustainability in mind in order to create pieces that last the test of time. We work tirelessly to ensure that everything we do and use can be traced back completely to its source, and that our providers are selected for the values that they hold both ethically and socially. 

 THE FABRIC

- 100% organic cotton Inside: 100% pure wild linen
- Wadding: 100% recycled PES

The cotton that is painted on or dyed with natural pigments comes from a farming cooperative based in Uganda and Kyrgyzstan, where it grows endemically and it is bought at fair trade prices. Romualda also use pure wild silk and linen, without a mixture of threads so that they can be completely recycled.
