What is recycled fashion? X independent labels that use recycled materials you need to know now on Aequem.com

In this article we're going to be talking about recycled clothing, how it works and what you can do to get involved. Aequem supports recycled clothing and stocks so many amazing brands that use only recycled materials in their production - let us take you through these brands and take a look at their products!

How does clothing recycling work?

Clothing that is in good condition can be passed down to friends, donated or sold as second hand. But what happens to clothes that aren't fit for use anymore? If these clothes are recycled, they can be re-used to make other items. Aequem loves recycled clothing and stocks a lot of brands that use recycled materials as their main source of product. Ensuring that their product lifespan is as long as possible!

How can you recycle your old clothes?

If you find yourself with old clothes that you know you'll no longer be wearing we urge you to recycle these, especially if they are in poor condition. Recycling your old clothes is the best way to dispose of what you no longer want without creating any waste! To get involved in this and recycle your old clothes, we suggest to do a little research on what is available in your area. Look into textile recycling, see if there are drop off points or textile banks that you can take your old clothes into to be recycled.

Let's take a look at the recycled brands on Aequem.com!
