20 things you can do right now to be the happiest version of you!
We all have those moments where we feel a little down in the dumps. Sometimes it can seem like you can’t find your way out of a rut, trust me we’ve all been there. For those of you having a hard time at the moment, we’ve compiled a list of 20 things you can do to feel a bit of instant happiness and put a smile on your face!
In an age where social media takes over lives, we say – turn it off. Spend a couple of hours without a ringing phone and enjoy the moment.
Lock down a sleep schedule
We all know the effects a bad night sleep can have on the day ahead. Get your sleeping pattern on track it’ll do wonders for your mood!

Spend at least 10 minutes outside every day
Sitting indoors can give you cabin fever – get outside even if it’s just to the shops. This breath of fresh air will revitalise you and elevate your productivity.
Face a fear
Now were not saying you should jump out of a plane or hold a tarantula… but doing something that is a little out of your comfort zone can make you feel amazing! Conquering a fear and overcoming that anxiety is a great way to feel happier.

Stop negative thoughts
It’s easy to fall into the habit of dwelling on the negative parts of your day. But instead of doing this try to actively seek out the positives, let these thoughts flood your mind help you progress.
Read anything, it could be a great book - something you’ve read before. Tuck into a guilty pleasure magazine or the biography of your role model. Get lost in the pages and relax.
Make a to do list
Feeling stressed with so much to do and you’re struggling to prioritise? We can’t stress enough how much simply writing it all down can help. For an instant de-stress exercise write down your jobs for the day, it’ll make you feel more aligned with your goals!
Our busy lifestyles mean the day can sometimes pass in what feels like the blink of an eye. Try to take a moment each day to reflect on all the good things that happened during the day. Big or small, it all makes a difference.
Turn up the volume
It’s pretty hard to feel sad when you’re listening to your all-time favourite tune. Create a playlist of all the songs that make you feel good! So crank up the volume and take a few minutes to enjoy the melody.

Helping someone else feel better will instantly reflect in your mood, treat others how you want to be treated. Leave a loved one a note or help a stranger with their shopping. You get what you give in this world.

Whether its reading online articles about something that sparks an interest in you, or learning a new language or instrument. Focusing your mind on a task that inspires you!
Embrace your favourite colour, incorporate it into your daily life. This could be through your clothes, accessories or interior design. We hope that when you see it you’ll smile!

We love making plans and plans are good but sometime we forget to just enjoy ourselves! We are big advocated of 'dolce far niente' - the sweetness of doing nothing - although we are guilty of forgetting this ourselves so this is a reminder for you and for us! Dolce far niente..
